ORTHODONTICS

Orthodontics is a part of dentistry which deals with correction of teeth positions and irregular shape and jaw positions in children and adults.
The goal of therapy is to achieve the correct position of the teeth and the correct development of the jaws with which aesthetics and primary function are satisfied. A fork of orthopedics specialist is coming to our office in pre-agreed dates. There are 3 ways to correct teeth:

– mobile orthodonian apparatus

These are devices that are used by young patients during the growth and development of the jaws, but in some cases they can also be used by adults. In order for the devices to be successful, it is necessary to wear them most of the day and throughout the night.

– fixed orthodonian apparatus

Fixed appliances consist of special locks which are adhesive to teeth and which are interconnected with wire arc. There is a metal and white fise apparatus. White are less attachable and therefore easier acceptable.

– invisalign (foils)

Teeth for straightening teeth are aesthetically the most aesthetically acceptable solution and alternative to classic fixed appliances. Foils must be weared for almost 24 hours a day except when eating in order to have the desired teeth correction. And if the most comfortable solution is not all possible, so in the event of the need for a greater movement of the teeth, standard fixed orthodontic apparatus must be used. Foils are planned and made by computer on the basis of the impression of both forks and the number of foils required is determined by the software.
